Default clutch Q:

-stock- 90' crx HF b16a1 lsd obd-0
it all started a couple of days ago. i was in a McD's drive thrue when my clutch cable started to loosen. after i adjusted it, it would keep sliping more and more often. one of the last times i adjusted it the car wouldn't start, i have power... and its still wont start...

-i have tightend it fully
-i have loosend it fully
-the pedal has tension when tightend

i ordered a new cable just in case but i doubt thats the prob now, or is it? help thanx.

check the little safty switch by the clutch pedal. Maybe in all your tightening it might have moved the pedal down a bit. or perhaps the pedal is just not returning all the way. Can you lift it up with your foot?

Clutch pedal (Itself)
Mounts for the cable
cable

You mentioned the car won't start. You have a clutch position switch on the pedal assembly This sw won't let you start the car without pressing the clutch in. Somehow you messed it up. I love to work under dash's don't you?

hit the nail on the head starts up fine now... some how the pedal didnt reach
