Default IACV cleaning

I'm looking to clean out my IACV as i got 213k miles and just want to clean up as much as possible. Had a full tune-up done at the shop, not sure if it IACV is part of that but don't think so.

I remember there was a really good thread about the procedure of how to take off the IACV and clean it. I searched and can't find that thread (it wasnt labeled under IACV it was an off topic convo in the thread and i forget the thread title)

If someone that either wrote or remembers that thread wouldnt mind linking it I would greatly appreciate it. That or if someone doesnt mind reposting the directions. I also need a location of where it is.

Thanks all in advance

alright well here's the deal, the link i am going to give you is for the 4gen. but the process is similar.

on the throttle body behind it there are there bolts that come out and 2 hoses that you must clamp off and take off the hoses. if you had the problem i had on my 94 accord that i couldnt stick the ratchet back there because there were two screws comming from the firewall i just hammerd them out the way with out breaking them so just bend them out the way. its a size 10mm bolts that are behind the throttle body on the iac valve. you can use some brake clean to clean it off just keep keep sparing it and if you need to use a rag to kinda scrub the lil mesh filter and keep spraying it to clean it.

also just as a heads up. on 95 accord there was no screws that needed to be bent, and it was 11mm socket not 10 or 12.

No just wanted to clean it. I am in the proccess of doing as much of a full clean up/tune-up on the car. did dist. caps/rotors, wires, plugs, oil filter/change, fuel filter, cleaned air intake, grease lube everything, new motor mounts (front was almost completely disintigrated) and i wanted to clean the IACV as part of all that. which it was a good thing i did. it was completely junked up.
