Default EK9R cluster into EDM EF8 dash: Howto?

Hi!

I'm gonna buy a JDM CTR cluster wich needs to be mounted into my EDM EF8 dashboard.

Does anybody of you know what I should look out for? Wil it fit!? Do's? Don't? Tips? Tricks?

In the futur I will be swapping to an B18C6 or a B16B, do I need to take special precautions?

All info is welcome!!

Thanx guys

Nothing, it's perfect. I just fell in love with the EK9 cluster the minute I saw it

XJamesX is right. I wired up my 00 Si cluster thanx to his write up and yes they are the same since the type r is a plug and play with 96-00 Civic's. I was gonna go with a type r cluster but only 1 prob with that and thats that the cluster only marks 190 km/h which is like 115-120

Well that sucks! thats the same speed our USDM Si's speedos max out at! I personally would like one that goes to at least 140mph but the CTR is very sweet either way.

Well, for me it doesn't matter because I'll be running on a JDM S1 tranny wich only goes untill approx. 200 k/ph. Thing is that that cluster is just so damn sexy.... wooooooooooooooooooooooot!

I love that 10k RPM sign!
