97 CD5 Cd Player Problems

Well my 97 Accord recently thru me a code saying CDE-1 whenever I press the CD Option. I have the OEM Cd Player. Now it does not accept any CDs into the loading bay.

CDE-1 Compact Disc Error-1
CD disc tray malfunction - mechanical failure (eject)

Google search brought back about 20 hits on this.

Less expensive to replace radio rather than repair.
