b16 reverse problem

b16 reverse problem
i have a b16 crx and everything runs fine except reverse if i put it in reverse the rpms bounce and it bogs and sometimes dies? has anyone else had this problem? any ideas thinking it might be the tranny or ecu and for some reason vtec only kicks in every other time i start the car? help any ideas?

Ive never heard that before..Maybe some sort of electrical/grounding issue when the reverse lights come on?? And the vtec problem to ,,sounds like a wiring issue..
