b16 harness question.

Default b16 harness question.

ok i have a usdm b16 with a ys1 tranny. it didnt come with an engine side harness and im swapping it into my 90 crx dx. the crx has the ecu side harness. which harness should i get in order to finish the swap. will any b16 harness do the job?

So you still have the whole dx engine harness..? Because thats the one you want to use,,You modify it by converting to mpfi,then add the wires for vtec,and depending on what obd you want to run there may be more wiring neccesary..Have you checked out rywire.com ?..They are great ..

yeah i still have the whole dx harnesss, motor and ecu side. and i have also check out ryewire. they seem like they do a great job and i would like to save myself the headache.

im running an odb0 pr3

Ok well all you'll have to do is convert to mpfi and run the 4 wires + ground for vtec and pin those wires into the ecu clips..You can go to rywire and have it done or try it yourself..Check out this http://www.gutterslide.com/fou....html..Then if you do that you would only need the vtec subharness from where ever for about $50..

oh and my dx was an automatic, is that going to make a difference?
