Default rsx spoiler on teg?

Hey everyone i was thumbing through my new SuperStreet and i seen an ad for Andy's Auto Sport. And in that ad i saw an rsx with the oem spoiler on it. i was wondering if the new rsx's wing would fit my 97 LS hatch? I want to go for a twist in a type R fasion. I wouldnt dare put this on my red LS. I would most definatly put this wing on if my car was to be re-painted white along with the type R front lip and sides. All in all i like the rsx's wing..its a bit more squared at the top corners as opposed to the older type R wings wich are rounded. Im not really much of a spoiler fan but if i were to ever get a white type R or repaint my car white...would it fit?

anything will fit if you drill holes for it.

i've been asking this question for about a good 2 yrs. through research, people have said and gave me measurements saying that the rsx(a spec) tail is too wide for our 3rd gen integra.

yea if it doesnt fit i most definatly will stick with no spoiler. im a fan of a clean smooth body design..but i sure do love the rsx's spoiler. i live in pittsburgh and i attended the world of wheels show tonight and took a few pics of a trickd out black rsx and you know it..i was all over the spoiler ..trying to figure out if it would fit..i believe it might be to wide..but it all depends on (how) wide it is..if its not much wider..modifying can definatly be done..i dont know about putting this on my red teg tho...if i ever ran a bigger wing like that ..for some reason i think they look best on white tegs...but thats just me..ill do some photshopin'. thanks for the repy's tho ppl.

ok everyone i got it...i just went outside and had a smoke and thought to myself about this whole ordeal...ill purchase a carbon fiber rsx spoiler...then buy a red oem spoiler...hopefully used or some **** to save a few bucks..cut the deck off the carbon fiber spoiler and fashion it down to the proper width of my teg's hatch..then, cut the oem red spoiler and use the side supports for the previously cut deck of the carbon fiber spoiler...re-attatch the whole deal..and there we have it..a custom red oem rsx spoiler on my teg with a carbon fiber deck...sounds like a pain in the *** job but i love getting myself into crazy projects that prob isnt worth it in the long run..but hey..itl be something no one has ever done before...let me know what you all think. ?

Unless you've done this before, I would say skip it. It's going to come out cheesy and not clean.

I wanted the RSX spoiler too, but once I figured out that it was gonna be too wide I just forgot about it.

You can go with the Vizages spoiler, I always thought it looked similar enough to the RSX one.

from experience, an rsx spoiler is too wide for an integra hatch. it extends about half an inch on each side. the solution was cutting off a piece in the center and rebuilding the spoiler. sounds cheap, but it was done right and my brother's integra currently sport it. i can post a pic, but the photochopped on above is how it looks.

you might want to let the wing idea go if you are only planning on doing it with the ITR lip. The oem lip is hard to get ahold of and cost a nice chunk of change as well. The pic above reminds me of the STi too much, and does not look that good on an integra.
