Where do you run?
This might not be the most technically oriented of posts, but after GrahamStephan's post about the automatic trans, I just couldn't stop thinking about how much fun it is to drive stick.
I wanted to know where everyone runs when they feel like getting away, where you go to get that pure driver experience. Show me your back roads, your local tracks, where ever.
Here is a shot of Pittsburgh. you can see downtown, and then on the right circled is Schenley Park

This is where buddies and I go for a quick drive sometimes. The course is full of every kind of turn you'd want. hairpin, decreasing radius, long sweeping bends... lots of elevation change and in the winter after a fresh snow, its all drifting. lots of fun. Also in the summer, that loop is the site of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. One of the only vintage races that still takes place on city roads.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. hope I'm not too off topic
