Default headlights

Is there a way, when you switch on your high beams, that the lows turn off and just your high beams stay on?

That is how mine work, I actually would want the reverse but I hear a relay is needed. Sometimes it;s just so dark that I need all 4 light at the same time, are you sure you posted your question correctly??? If so then I think your car may be messed up.

Somebody may have already added a relay to make yours do that. You will need to trace down the wires to see if they have been modified or tampered with.

does the lever stay all the way back? because if you hold them all the way back they both stay on.

Did you get your car from Canada? J/K

Sounds to me like the relay that clicks off your low beams when you put on your highs is messed up. I would switch it out, wherever it is. Do you mean low beams, as in fog lights?
