Just Bought 94 GS-R and I love it
What's up... so I just bought a 94 gs-r sedan dark green 166k for $2600. It's got a little bit of rust around the rear wheel as expected, the right rear door has a medium sized dent in it and there are misc small dings and dents on it, and it needs an ABS wheel speed sensor but I really don't care what the body looks like so I think i got a hell of a deal. I had a 93 Civic DX sedan with a z6 in it and some 17yr old girl pulled out in front of me so her insurance company, when all was said and done, paid me $3k after i put the stock d15, and other misc stuff i had done, back to stock. So basically i traded my 93 DX sedan in rough shape for a 94 gs-r and ive still got the z6, ex seats, chipped p28, EX cluster, etc. Im pumped ill get pics of the civ and the teg up when i get a new camera. Also i have some 15" BBS 5 spokes from my civic 4x100 lug pattern.. is the teg the same? thanks

What would the point of putting the ecu Integra? He was running it on his SOHC motor so it wouldn't do any good at all it would probably hurt performance unless he has it chipped and tuned for a DOHC engine. It sounds like his engine is stock though so keep the stock ecu you have in now... don't listen to this person...
I think everyone should have their reply abilities taken away until they can prove that they are smart enough to not misguide other members

wow sounds like a pretty nice buy. there are little like black rubber trim peices on your wheel wells. Rip them off, help cut back on the rust problem
Thanks guys... rubber pieces are long gone, my p28 isnt chipped for b18 yet... a buddy had a b16 he told me he'd sell me for cheap and i was thinkin about using b16 pistons and head on my b18 block this is basically poormans ITR right? anyone done it lately and know compression/power specs? thanks

thats what he said he was doing, he has a gsr already, now he just wants to put the pistons and head from a b16 on the b18c

p28 is a sohc vtec ecu, correct but as you said it would be pointless unless chipped, also correct, when chipped, the two power bands (or maybe the vtec) is combined into one creating more power thru out, there fore, i think im right buddy
ya its already a gsr so you guys think i should do it? or save money for turbo? my boy told me $500 for the b16 head and pistons.. good deal?
thats not that great of a deal for the b16 head and pistons.
check the condition of your gsr motor with a compression and leakdown, if it looks good, start building yourself a nice homemade turbo kit.
i'm boosting my 155k ls engine and its running great.
building a decent turbo kit is alot cheaper than people make it out to be. you dont have to cut corners either to peice it together cheaply. if you want, you could even do a mild bottom end build depending on how much money you're working with.

ha... they do but i had to take the bumper off and hold the nuts with vise grips to get the old plate off so i just did that till i get some nuts/bolts to replace the old ones
the snow covered teg above is the one we flew to california to buy and drove back to maine... mine looks the same way today matt. oh ya and rust SUCKS!
believe me man.. we would like these tegs to become classics more than you would but the only way that is possible in maine is to store your car for 6 months of the year and have a winter beater. my winter beater just died so... guess ill b drivin the teg for a bit but i know how rust works and i will take care of it
