I've only just bought a gen4 vtir prelude and after it's maiden burnout session on a damp abandoned footy field, the 4WS light has illuminated continously. I took it to my local honda dealer to hook up the diagnostic computer to be told that it reads error code 51 - faulty rear actuator motor. fair enuf! cost of a new one AU$300 plus fitting. BUT . . . the service manager cant garantee that this will fix the problem as the 4WS module (computer) may also be faulty. The module is another $4200. Has any one had this similar problem and had it fixed.

 

Isn't there a way for them to test the module?
