1988 crx si with b18 help
First I want to say that I'm a new member and found this site through another crx site. I have a 1988 crx si and want to install a b18b/c. This is not wishful thinking I have the cash and need help. I have swaped many motor's in american cars along with a lot of custom fabrucation (I work at a customizing shop) but I have never did a swap on a Honda. I'm not sure if the B or C would be best but I was told that the C is more tuner friendly. I looked at HAsport's web site and have some idea on the process. My boss is always buying rebuilders from the salvage auctions so I should be able to find a bill of sale donor car but I need to know what to buy (IE years). Does anybody know if there are other manufactures of kits for this swap? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
you can check with blown90hatch..he sells HCP bolt in kits.
if you have the cash then i'd go b18c. that is the dohc vtec motor out of a '94-00 integra gsr. a b18b ('94-00 integra ls, gs) is significantly less expensive but doesn't have vtec. personally im swapping a b20z2 in my '91 crx si. that's a '99 honda crv motor (2.0l 4 cyl). right outta the box it has a very nice looking torque curve. check here:

i think you might like those dynos. being an american car guy u should know there is no replacement for displacement.
