Hi guys, I have a y21 tranny that came out of a jdm del sol.

Is there a way you can tell if it came with factory lsd without removing the axles.
There aren't any lsd stamps anywhere on it.

no, i don't think those came with lsd. I'd just pull the axles out to make sure it really doesn't take that long. Once they're pulled out if you can see straight through it then it's a lsd if not then it's not.

 

nope, taking the axles out is the only surefire way to tell. if you do a burnout and one wheel doesnt spin, you know you DONT have a lsd, but just because both wheels spin doesnt indicate that you really have a lsd
