Default Re: B18 question??? (88'CRXsi)

B18a and B18b are nonvtec..B18c is vtec..

90-91 b18a is obd0 and has 130hp
92-93 b18a is obd1 and has 140hp
--Both have cable trannys,

94-95 B18b is obd1 and has 142hp
96-01 b18b is obd2 and has 142hp
--Both have hydro trannys

There are 2 different b18c motors..One is found in the 95-97 integra sir-g and other is found in the 97-01 integra type-r..These are found in jdm cars..

The sir-g b18c could be either obd1 or obd2 depending on the year..
Has 178hp and about 10.6:1 compression ratio..Very similar to the b18c1 found in our 94+ gsr integras..

The type-r b18c is obd2,,
Has 210hp and about 11.0:1 compression ratio
--All b18c motors have the hydro trannys

B18a and B18b motors have 1834 displacement and the B18c has 1797 displacement..The b18a and b18b motors have a bigger stroke but all the b-series engines have 81mm piston bores..(Except B20b/z crv engines which have 84mm)
THeres more info just search
