I put together this insane setup about three years ago starting with crate engine from Importbuiders using their reputable stage three 400hp + engine. I have rebuild this engine three times since, the first being the sleeves sunk (GE sleeves), the second time I boosted for too long and the third was right after the second rebuild when I put a brand new toda oil pump gear in a bad oil pump case and lost pressure. This engine right now is absolutely flawless. Blacktrax (www.blacktrax.net) rebuilt the engine for me in early 2005 and double checked all machine measurements to make sure the block and head were straight. They build the bottom end and installed new valve seals and reground the valve seats. This motor has 850 miles on it and the transmission has 40k. The motor was installed and driven with varying throttle to Chico CA from the bay area (about 4hr drive) too and from for the first 450 miles on basic 10w40 oil. The oil was then changed over to amzoil 10w40. This engine is still running a break in tune done by Dynospot. Just an idea of power… it put over 420hp at only 15psi of boost. This motor is capable of well over 20psi of boost which should put it well over 550hp. There is noting wrong with this engine at all, I have a family now and I could not sell the type r that this engine was in, so I am selling the two separate. Below is everything that will come with this engine. It is still in the car and arrangements can be made to start it and drive it so that it can be fully checked out before it is pulled and sold.
