ef cigarette lighters

my cigarette works put it doesnt power anything like rechargers or gps's anybody else have this problem?

if your lighter works but nothing else does I would clean out the inside of the cig lighter housing because it gets alot of ash build up from long time use. Sometimes its not gettting a good connection.
