engine swap.. wiring harness question
i have a 94 gsr that i pulled the b18c out of to replace it with a b18a so i could have the car as a daily driver and sell the engine because i saw on ebay what they were going for!! i need the cash asap so i need to sell the gsr engine yesterday haha... anyway, i had a quick question and tried a search but to no avail so i figured i would just ask.. what in the heck do i do? i have the b18a harness but it will not plug into the gsr harness up by the firewall.. i mean the plugs are totally different! im sure there are people on here that have done this type of thing before or would at least know what i should do here.. if so please let me know thanks.
dude you really should have done some research before you attempted this, Im not sure but you might not be able to use the b18a at all, or without major electrical modification, you def. should have gotten a b18b, I think the b18a came in the da, so the wiring is alot different than the motor that is for that car(b18b).
keep ur b18c in there, that crazy to swap it for the ls, get extra money some other way, but if ur bent on the swap than get an obd1 b18b, thats a very simple swap.

I put in a B18C1 in my 92 Teg, so you are doing the exact opposite of me....hhhhmmmm........doesnt sound right
all i really know is that your going to have to use your existing wiring harness
you are going to have a few extra wires
and next you will probably have to get the OBD1 PR4 ECU for your car
i actually have one for sale
