Default Lost Motion Assembly...

I was wondering what does that LMA really do??? I heard that it cuts down the noise of Vtec??? Is this true??? But I am also wondering, does anyother B-series head??? b16a, b18c, and b16b??? Can anyone help me out!!??

No, LMAs will not make VTEC quieter. It may reduce valvetrain noise in some cases though.

But I am also wondering, does anyother B-series head??? b16a, b18c, and b16b??? Can anyone help me out!!??

well my main question is that i have a b16a head. I was going to be installing ctr cams...is it necessary to have the LMA??? Also, they say that it helps valve springs???

How much is a new set?
theres a guy on ebay selling them for $99 is that good?
Is it worth upgrading when i put in my new cams?(99 si head)

That's what I figured you were asking. If that's the case I'd install ITR/CTR LMAs and valvesprings and also get your ecu chipped to make better use of your ITR cams.

Are you kidding? Whitout LMAs VTEC will NOT work. Those LMAs are for letting the middle "cam follower" (forgotten how it's called) following the middle cam!!!!

Ahhh... OK. Well I think it's better to have them because the ITR VTEC cam has more lift so it's better to have a stiffer LMA....
