Default cam identification help

ok, i bought an h22 head and blah blah blah, and when it arrived, UPS had managed to break one of the cams. Now that the claim papers have been issued and whatnot, there is just one thing left... which cam was broken. neither were actually installed in the head, so my question is how do i tell which one is the intake cam and which one is the exhaust cam. i really havent been able to find anything, so any help would be appreciated!

If it has a "notch" for the distributor it is the Exhaust, if no notch, then it's intake.

its hard to tell, both of them look almost identical. when i just layed them in place, the one i put on the exhaust side looked like it had little tick mark on the left side with the gear TDC indicator facing up. im really not sure what or where to look, i guess thats my main problem.
