ecu code problems
i just got a 88 hatchy and it was sittin in one spot for a while. when i go to start it it'll start but wont hold an idle. its throwin codes 10 and 14. if anyyone has any suggestions on what the prooblem might be just let me know.
i had the same problem. the thing is if you did a swap then most likely you swiched the two plugs to their respective components. the plugs are exactly the same.
code 10-intake temp. sensor located behind the injectors, in the middle of the intake maifold on top of the runners cant miss it.
code 14-idle air control vlave located on the back of your intake manifold. the plug is on the bottom right.
once you do this, then unplug the negative of you battery to reset the ecu. wait 10 min. then fire her up. i hope this helps.

Those codes are the cause of your idle problem.
