Default What Kind of Lights?

I was headed home on I-35 last night and I saw this old Chevy Astro behind me with some VERY bright/white aftermarket headlights. I'm pretty sure he didn't have an HID kit for an old Chevy Astro but it sure as hell looked like HID's. They weren't cheap blue bulbs...these were VERY WHITE! Anyone have any idea what they could be? Silverstars?

Who knows. Eurolite (Toucan Industries) makes some DOT super-white plasma lites...I think they are also known as xenon, but the bluish tinted ones I don't think are street legal. I might have to be corrected here.

I bought my Xenon bulbs for $20 CDN.

Maybe it was just higher wattage PIAAs? The Astro's lights sit higher than most cars, so it shines directly into our eyes. Therefore it may give the appearance of being brighter. Along with the color of PIAA bulbs, they do look HID.

I've seen a few Chevy Trucks on the road that make me think they are "HIDs" sometimes.
