Well you really need a helms manual at least to tell you where everything is so you can check to see if it is all plugged up and ran right, these codes are pretty common after poorly done swaps so somebody may have had the motor out at one point. If you know how to read schematics and diagrams then you can find out pretty easy why the codes are on.

JDMfrontedLS - if you know waht the codes are, then do some more research on what it actually means.

Code 3 - Electrical error, its not plugged in or something is shorting. Bad sensor, possibly.

Code 17 - make sure the speedo cable is plugged in, make sure the VSS is in and bolted down securely.

Code 16 - Check all injectors to make sure they work. Replace em with a known good set of Injectors.

VtecSyndrome the link in your sig, doesnt work.

Reseting it may have been all you needed, the problems may have been fixed when you bought the car but just had not had the ECU reset. I hope that is all it is

join the club, my carpet has 210,000 miles on it and is shot to hell on the driver side. ACC carpets looks like a good replacement option from what I have read.
