Until it starts coming out of the filler plug, 1.8 quarts, If my memory serves me right.

Sounds about right, I bought 3 qts last summer and have almost 2 bottles left.

Really? Damn I wonder it was always leaking oil from my tranny and the axel seal. I put like 2 1/3 qt.

Its in the owner's manual. And i'm sure if you searched for a few minutes you'd find it on this forum, I know for a fact its been discussed here before.

the book says 1.9.

I just put in 2 and call it even.

However, the tranny is designed in a way that you pour it in and it is done when it starts coming out the fill hole (useful if you lost oil and needed to top off without fully flushing).

Either way will yield the same result.

What gas station do you go to? You pump in quarts and not gallons?
