Default H22 intake manifold flange

I'm in the process of making ITB's for my h22. I'm trying to decide whether or not to chop of the stock manifold or just get a flange and start from scratch and get them exactly how i want them.

anyone know where i can pick up this flange?

i agree. if you were looking for production, then i would say make a flange. Chopping is cheap and fun haha.

for 50$ cutting it is definitely worth it. especially since most flanges have coolant ports and such...

the only ports on the stock manifold is the EGR. My EGR isnt functional anymore since i run a p28 ecu so i dont have to worry about any of that. I know that its gonna be less cost effective to use the stock mani, but i'm just weighing out my options of what is going to cost less to weld. Any guess on the difference in costs:

a) give them the manifold, hack the runners completely off, weld 4 straight runners about 4 or 5 inches in length. Port the stock injector holes to accept the honda injectors. Fab a fuel rail moint

b) give them the flange and weld the runners on. then the rest of the stuff in option a.

from that point i can figure out how wide i need to space the tb's to get them lined up perfectly. ONce i get that done, that is pretty much all i need to do with putting them together.

i'm looking at making a custom fuel rail from http://www.rossmachineracing.com/. Don't know what size i need yet, but its gonna be awhile til i get to that point.

last but not least, the velocity stacks. http://secure.mycart.net/catal...ext=1
gonna be running the red ones.

that should be it for putting them completely together. Throttle cable wise, i'm prolly gonna buy a sohc civic throttle cable since its approx 4 inches shorter than the h22 cable.

i've got alot of work to do

i really wanted to place the injectors in the busa tb's. But from what i have read, they are at an extreme angle. So in order for them to work, i would need to have the holes bored out and somehow change the angle of spray.
