I am guessing you got slipon coilovers off ebay. So crash course you need a spring compressor, a set of metric sockets and a 1/2" impact gun. You will need to take off the strut from the car and then place it in the compressor. Once that has been achieved compress the spring so there is tension the spring, remove the strut top lock nut and loosen the tension on the spring. Now place you slipon over the strut and remember to reuse the bump stop if possible. Once completed put tension back on the spring on the coilover and put the sturt mount back on with the lock nut. Release the tension and repeat on all three remaining corners. Then get a tape measure out and adjust then ride height to what you see fit by measuring from the center of the tire to the top of the fender to get your desired drop. Look a couple hours for a beginner and about 1 1/2 hrs for a more qualified person. Have fun with coilovers they go on just the same as springs with out the height adjustment.

If theyre your comventional coilovers you dont need a spring compressor. Just swap out the whole assembly. Make sure you rent a ball joint remover from kragen or autozone.

Ask and you shall receive

A pitman arm puller works best for those pain in the *** ball joints. Don't just try and smack it with a hammer or wrestle them out.

Also when installing the rears if you can't get the lower bolt to line up, use an extra jack to lift the assembly and line it up. As you jack the assembly up tap the bolt lightly with a hammer. Once it lines up, it will slide right in.

Overall, its pretty easy. Take your time and post if you have any questions.

make sure you don't let go of the brake hub assembly when you unbolt it from the shocks/springs. if you let go of it, the axle can (probably will) pop out of its' sockets. have someone hold those in place.

i did mine, and i jus placed a towel over the end and used a socket wrench until it popped off...no biggy at all

jus put some wait on it...sit on it or put one foot on it...
