if i got more exact it would be alot more then what is listed. roughly 14-15k into the shell alone and about 5700-6300 into the motor. i have almost all reciepts for everything purchased.

realistically thugh i think you would make way more money back if you parted it being that no matter what is done to a car someone can only get a loan for bluebook. i would part if i were you, you'd see a lot more money that way

 

how much just for the rolling shell?
well here's the brake down:
rolling shell
front end
no seats
dash board w/cluster and climate controll you know the vents yatta yatta
door panels
misc. glass
and thats it......

 

Wow I hope that goes to someone who can appreciate the work /time/effort/etc. that has been put into that car and finish it the correct way.

Your not that far off on finishing it...why would you sell it now? If you sunk X amount of dollars into it and only get X back then wouldn't it just be as effective to finish it up and enjoy it. Good luck either way

thanks cannon on the kind words! i guess some events in my life has occured and kinda got me thinking for the future. ive spent over 20k into this car knowing that i would never ever get back what i put into it. this was a passion and hobby for me that i somehow lost interest in. im just glad that i never charged anything up and remain debt free.

you have a very good point. if it comes to it i will part it off. i just rather get rid of it all at once.

thanks everybody! seattlewrx can vouch for my car. i have decided to officially part out the car and bring the price down to a more reasonable price.

 

Sad to see it go unfinished. But good luck with whatever's next and hope that you get a good portion of what you spent back.
