My wife was in a little fender bender this morning. It was completely her fault and nothing was wrong with the other persons car so we didnt get police or insurance involved.

Basically the back quarter panel has unsnapped and cracked a little.

I dont have any experience with wrecks or auto body shops so I am trying to get some advice with what exactly I should do. How many auto body shops should we get estimates from and are there any ways to tell if we are getting ripped off?

Does anyone know about what this should cost to repair?

Your quarter panel cracked? Do you mean the bumper cover cracked?

Any chance that you can post a picture of it, or a link to a picture? Just wanting to get a good look at the damage.

Did the other person hit her in the tire by any chance? If so, you might consider getting an alignment.

 

I wouldnt be able to post a pic until later this evening. The part that is cracked is right behind the tire below the quarter panel I guess.
