My old rusty Si front bumper braket is in the way of my IC pipes. I was going to cut it up to fit but stumbled upon a thread showing how small/light the HF support braket is.
Just wondering if anyone has a pic of the support braket on a CRX, or even beter, on a CRX with an IC.
Thanks.

i could grab some pics of my ic with my hf bumper support in two weeks (my crx is 6 hours away from me right now)
the hf support is very similar to the top piece of the si bumper support where the top of the bumper screws down.

That is what a HF bumper support looks like it is tubular like that.

Correct...I made the assumption that is everyone knew it was 90-91. A little metal saw/dremel can elminate the bar if you so desire.

Good to know! i dont think i'll need that bar.. I did a couple tricks to my engine bay/unibody this past summer to make it extreemly strong.

stich welded + the parts i cut out for the h22 have a couple full days of welding/fabrication.
Also stich welded my z-10 style crossmember along the the unibody (bottom rad support) A lot of people dont take into account that these aftermarket crossmembers flex MORE than stock crossmembers. dont beleive me? try jacking up the car on it.
the ones with only 1 bar are even worse! that's why I went with two like the Z10 has. (much better IMO)
edit: my rear crossmber is also stich welded and foam filed.

i dont think that bar does anything structurally. it is there for crash standards- just less beefy for weight than the si support. that's why 88-89 and jdm supports don't have it.
i know i never missed mine.
