when your putting on the steering wheel lock, put it on behind the steering wheel, that makes it much harder for them to brake it off.
In my opinion the round ones are not durable at all, I would get the square steering wheel lock.

steering wheel locks are pointless. you dont even have to break them.
a steering wheel is a thin metal type tube, with rubber/material covering it.. maybe some padding. all you need is about 5-10 seconds, and a small hand saw.. just cut one part of the steering wheel, and bend it out, then pull the club off.
and no i dont know this from experience.. ive seen a lot of tv reviews/articles about them to know.. well i take that back. my crx was stolen with the steering wheel club on it.. and i had a carbon fiber steering wheel. when the cops found it, it had a stock steering wheel in its place, and the club was still there, and locked as it was on the wheel.

As for The Club, I use mine with The Shield. It is a bowtie shape metal contraption which goes over the steering wheel and is held in place by The Club. It greatly hinders the quick sawing of the steering wheel. Unfortunately TMK, The Shield is no longer produced.

nice... i have the same except that shifter lock.. its funny how people think the club sucks so they dont use it.. then they get their car jacked and wonder why the alarm didnt help.. lol.
to the guy that said its gonna make them work for 40 seconds more.. its more than that. first they gotta pop the hood and cut the alarm, break the autolock with a special took, cut the steering wheel in two places, break the shifter lock with i dont know what the hell, then start the car etc etc. when someone sees that they dont even want to bother stealing your car.. unless its a itr with 20k in mods or something

You don't need any tools to defeat the Autolock. See my post above ^.

Actually, only one strategic cut on the steering wheel will do the job. Keep in mind, the steering wheel is relatively "bendable."

The way it looks in the pic, unless the **** was glued in, a thief could just simply unscrew the **** and remove the lock from the shifter end.

I agree with you that these locks are a decent visual deterrent and will slow down a thief somewhat.

Keep in mind that thieves often work in groups. Assuming they don't care about setting off the alarm, one thief could break in and work at removing the locks while another would work on defeating the alarm under the hood. If the alarm wasn't well installed (eg exposed wires, no battery backup), this could easily take 40 secs or less.

thats true.. but i have it on there adjusted (and in first gear) so that there isnt play.. the shifter is "long" so the only way to get even leverage on it for you to raise it over the top, is to either break the shifter, or the brake pedal..
AND...
you will also have to cut the shift boot, because the ring is over the top of it, meaning you cant just slide it up and over.. +30 seconds right there

ok well nothing is fore shure but with that set up and an alarm if that guy car get stolen atleast he know he did all he could... I think a good idea is to get a peice of wood stick some nails in it and paint it black, and leave it on the seat. once a thief drops his *** on the seat BAM NAIL THROUGH THE *********

well heres something you guys can try...
my friend has a jeep, and people always stole his stereo parts.. so one day he hooked it up so under his dash was a bunch of razor blades..
a few weeks later he came out in this morning, and there was blood all over the interior of his car.. but his system and deck was still there

Ouch... that's pretty smart. But wait till he forgets about the blades and wants to get under the dash. Even more ouch.
