I'm converting my 94 vx front end to a 2000 si front. I need to know if i need any other stuff other than radiator support, lights, front end, and hood.And how much does it usually cost to do this? thanks

 

That's going to be quite extensive. I don't even know if that's easily feasible.

it's very simple but i need to know of any extra parts.

 

you have to get the hood specially made and the fenders will be half 92-95 half 99+

 

y not change it to a silvia s14 conversion?? j/w....

it mite need alittle work.. wont bolt on easily.

since it is a different generation .. all the parts are different .. basically you need the whole 00 front end .. and find a way for all of them to bolt on..

I've seen that conversion on the road before, so I at least know for sure it is possible. I don't know how much and what is entailed in doing the conversion.

**** dudes, I even said "please" at the end of it. The title doesn't say "front end conversion" or anything, it just says "any one know about this conversion" which could be a technical question on a BRAKE conversion or something.

Had I known it was a front end conversion - something I know nothing about - I would have not even clicked on it.

There is an appearance forum for questions JUST like his, where he'd probably get even more help than here.

I have yet to see any one of you guys who thinks I'm an ******* for telling the guy where this thread should be offer him any real help on his question - just *thinks* and *I'm sure it's possible* so actually my post probably helped him out more if he posted up in the appearance forum where he'd get more help.

It was made clear a while back that the EG+Civic/Del Sol forum needed to get back to more tech-related **** anyways, so why don't those of you who have a problem with my helpful suggestion keep that in mind, okay?

You can think I'm a dick or whatever, but chances are if you have a tech question or you need help, I will help you if I can.

Chill out next time instead or reading into something so much, like drawing your own meaning from my previous post in this thread.

well, I directed a few words your way B18C5 not because it looked like you wrote "you suck for wanting to do a front end conversion!", because it didn't...not to me anyway, but because you typed it in all caps, bolded it and it came out really impersonal...i.e. like you were a mini-mod or something, not even suggesting to the guy that he check out the appearance forum, it looked like you thought you were too good to let us in on the info and instead, were looking to have a mod just move it without any sense of respect or consideration for your fellow members...that's why I implied that maybe you should chill out...****, I hope this make sense, I'm really tired...anyway, no beef here, you consistently provide accurate, helpful info to all who need it, it's just the the way "APPEARANCE FORUM PLEASE!?" came out...sounded straight-up mean. and I don't "think" the conversion can be done, I know it can, I've seen it, I just don't know enough about it to tell the guy what he needs to make it work. peace.
