i wanted to see what i could bring my 99ek up to in alll my gears with out a tach.. 1st gear i went up to 45mph and 2nd gear 75mph and 3rd 115mph and than i let off the gas is that normal?

 

depends on what tranny you have . . . vx is long as hell so that sounds right

 

There was no ek vx, and I think all trannies had relatively the same first gear if not exactly the same first gear. Seems a little high, but I dunno. Check out mista bone's tranny page (search google).

 

its a dx and i think its a stock tranny but i dont know but the gear are long as hell but the car is even slower

 

1st and 2nd sound normal. I havent maxxed out 3rd yet

On this site you find all sorts of stupid people. If you didn't post that it was a manual, HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW!? I was trying to help you out and you flame me!? Go buy a ford and join a ford forum, thats how all the people are on those.
