what rods are these?
i bought these rods and was told they are oem itr rods, but im not sure if they really are. i took some pics next to a old gsr rod i had around and they look pretty much the same. i thought itr rods where p73's but these do have the r stamped on them so i dont know. another thing is the "23" on the side, it looks like its on with ink or something and i thought oem honda rods were engraved, these are not.
someone help me out here...

supposed "R" rods are on the right if you cant tell.
call me **** but im trying to build my motor with all oem itr stuff.

Rod fasteners don't have the dimples to facilitate the use of a stretch gauge on P72 rods. Big-end bore sizing schemes are labeled differently, using 22 to 25 (ITR) instead of 1 to 4 (P72).
The masses are roughly the same between P72 and R rods, as are the mass groupings for a matched set. Individual rods can be anywhere from 543 grams to 550 grams (from what I've seen in about 5 different sets of rods). Matched sets are typically have no more than 2 grams of difference between any two rods.
I've never measured center-to-center rod lengths for any of these rods, so I have no info on how consistent or how out of specification they are.
