Default Got my JDM fogs. How to install with out.....

4th gen.
Ok I got my JDM fodlights now the only issue with that is I am missing Internal, external harness, the relay, switch and so on. Basically I got just the fogs. Now is it possible to still install them? If so any DIY guides or what exactly do I have to buy to make them work ?

the relay is a 4 pin mitsuba rc-2201. you can get one at honda for like $35.
the 4th gen comes pre-wired for fog lights. all you need is the relay and switch then it's plug-n-play from there. what year is you prelude?

Awsome thanks allot bro, My luda is 1996 model, and when I was cleaning my turn signals i noticed there was already a connector for the fog lights wired in so I see what you saying by telling me it's already pre wired. So what would be my next step from here on bro?

EDIT: yeah bro i realise that, I actually seen that link before. my only problem even tho they are pre wired... ill isntall the fogs, connect them to the connector @ the bumper. From there how do I take it. Do I just install the relay by pluging it in? After that, do I run switch wires that say i bought from auto zone from where to where?

EDIT2: God, sorry man, im stupid..... too many beers. lol But ok so from what I understood what you are saying & from looking @ the diagram I don't even have to worry about the Internal/external harness. Correct? They are all already in the car prewired like you said?

Yeah, the relay is just plug-n-play; it should click into place. After i attached the relay, i just zip-tied it to the other wiring harnesses to keep it from hanging down. Since you have a 1996 model Prelude, your switch harness should be located in your under your armrest console (4th gen ludes are pre-wired for the fog light switch as well). There should be a connector harness wrapped in blue tape with the rest of the harness after you remove the armrest console. As far as finding the fog light switch, i'd recommend try searching on eBay even though they go for pretty high.

Hey bro i was searching around and check this out...

I looked it up, they are the same part number </TD></TR></TABLE>

I have an aftermarket alarm system so I can jsut grab that relay instead of buying one? Ogh and Ive been looking for a switch for 30minutes now and no luck. Damn I also was reading that there is JDM switch and USDM one.. WTF?

that's if your car came with an OEM alarm system. Still yet, i'm not sure if they are the same part number. If you do have an OEM alarm system but don't use it, you can try removing the relay off that and see if the part number reads "rc-2201". If it does, then you can just plug it into the fog light wiring harness. As far as the fog light switch, they are pretty hard to come by. There is another way around it though. My friend didn't want to spend the extra money for a fog light switch so he just jumped two of the wires from the harness together with a piece of wire so that the fog lights are always on. On when the headlights are on and automatically turns off when high beams are turned on. It acts as if he had the fog light switch but left it in the "on" position the whole time.

sweet good to know now this is what others are telling me... and all of this completely throwing me off here...

"the 2 things you need are the relay and the 8inch wire harness thing.
ts the 8inch long wire harness that goes under the dash of the driver side that one end connects to the relay and other end to the brown colored connector, "

Now that harness thing is the only thing i dont understand. Evertying alse im on. From what I understand you are saying all I need is the relay & Switch. He is saying, relay & 8inch wire harness. Now see why I keep getting confused?
