Default Accord H22/F23 problem

I have searched.

i swapped a H22 into a 2001 accord that had a f23 in it.

I am almost done but stopped due to Distributor problem.
I am using the Accord harness and the plug for the distributor is different for f23 and H22.
i was wondering if anyone has done this and what they did to make this work?

i have read a few threads thru searching but done describe this problem yet.

thanks
blake

internal vs. external coils? that would explain the additional wires.

How much was your H22 and how long did it take to put it in if you did it yourself? Also if you did it by shop tell me how that worked out. Once it's running keep us posted on how the performance is, I might be swappin mine instead of rebuildin the stupid tranny, so keep us all posted!

if u have 9 wires on that distrubtor of urs then that is a internal coil i had the same problem, you would have to re-route the crank sensor wires to that plug converting it into OBD1 and if u have a coil plug i believe it is the yel/blk and blk wire u connect them together and the green one u leave it hanging/cut it do watever with it. this will convert ur OBD2 into OBD1 u might need to get OBD1 injectors not sure. my motor is a OBD1 into a OBD2 CD but i had to use the OBD2 CD wiring harness and all i had to do wat just connect thost two wires yel/blk and blk together then with a handy manual useing two of the wiring diagrams jus match up the CYL TDC and Crank sensor wires to that 9 plug. n if the h22 is a OBD2 then jus get a OBD2 distrubtor n plug n play otherwise happy CONNECTING! need ne thing respond
