Honda 93 brake lights issue
I have had trouble with the right tail light in the bumper and in the window. both brake lights wont work. we checked the bulbs and they are good. then from this diagram HERE http://taskofmd.org/graphics/c...9.jpg you can see it runs to a right brake light sensor? can somone tell me where this is. on the dash no light lights up like the brake lamp one or whatever. go we cut the brake wire and ran a jumper to the left brake light and tapped in. this solved the right light problem (just in the bumper not in the window) but now when you turn the car on and hit the brake the brake lamp light comes on and wont go out so we hooked the jumper wire to the right brake feed and the light with still no luck on the lamp... any ideas. we checked the ground and really by this fax HERE http://taskofmd.org/graphics/c...t.jpg we got from honda this is where the sensor should be but its not and theres not even a plug to go in to it.
so where is this sensor or fuse that is causing all of this.
so where is this sensor or fuse that is causing all of this.
check the fusebox under the left dash near the hood latch lever, see if it's blown, get a testlight, and check for power at the right rear brake fuse, if there's power then check power at the RR brake socket itself, shouldn't be power according to you. if not then you have a bad Right brake sensor. the fuse powers the sensor then powers the bulb. if power on one end and not the other, then it's always something in between. have no idea where the sensor is . good luck.
