I've been reading about the F23 bottom end with an H22 Head but haven't seen much about an F22B1 bottom end with a H22 head. Is there anyone on this forum who could really go into detail with the setup and post up how much the whole swap is gonna be, how long is it going to take, what exact parts are we going to need to make this setup work and last but not least...after doing the swap, wat kind of a powergain i'm gonna look at..both HP and Torque. Thanks alot

 

I'm wondering the same things. From what i hear you need to use the H22 HEad/Intake manifold, Possibly the exhaust manifold. Plus the F22 block only has 6 oil drain holes weres the H22 head has 8 hole(2 need to be plugged up)

I read something about the water tube behind he block not aligning right unless you use the F23 Water Tube or Make a Custom one.

This swap seems pretty straightforward to me except the oil drain holes...I've had this issue with D series blocks but on their it's the Block that has the extra holes that are easily plugged up. Somes gotta have an answer about this issue.

Guessing you gonna need the ECU from the H22(unsure of the ECU code P75?)

Assuming you know how to solder and extent wires, and machanically inclined and whatnot the swap seems fairly easy.

look around in the prelude section, at least 3 guys have writeups for the F/H series hybrids. Prelittlelude did the F22b2/H22 hybrid, PirateMcFred did an F23a5/H23 hyrbid, and Sam1am26.
