I know HONDAs and ACURAs are very well known for thefts and striped for parts.

I was just wondering how long have your luck held up before you had your car

stolen, if it ever did.

* Post info on what type of security you had or didn't have on your car.

Well my cousin has had experience. It was a riced out civic and it was stolen in the middle of the night in front of his house. The thieves had it good because the car was out of battery so the alarm was out(bastards got lucky). Car was recovered, missing the rims, seats, deck, and system.

5 years before it was stolen. less than 1 year before it was broken into (still stock)

 

i've owned several hondas/acuras. my longest one to date is my 93 si. i have yet to have any theft scares.
theft hasn't caught on real big here yet.

 

i got my car 6 1/2 years ago. it was stolen 8 months after i got it and was found a week later.

then it was stolen again 1 1/2 years after that and found 3 days later.

now ive got heavy duty security on it. im not going for a 3rd time.

 

I once owned a 87 CRX Si for 6 days before it got stolen

 

Suprisingly I've owner 5 different honda/acura cars and not one has been stolen or attempted to be stolen. But one of my CRX's was broken into and the CD player and cd's were stolen. But thats the worst of it. I was more pissed having to pay to replace the window than I was that the CD player and CD's were jacked. I can guess you can say too I live in theft capital. Hopefully though it stays this way and none of my cars are stolen.

 

I had my 95 civic ex for 5 years...never was stolen or broken into. I just bought a 99 si, it is still basically stock...going on 2 months, I am about to get a good alarm for it, because I am not going to chance it.

 

my old 94 coupe was stolen 1 1/2 years after i got it, recovered the next day, two amps, crossover, sub, my backpack with my school books gone.

my current 93 si, 3 1/2 years later, not a single incident. knock on wood.

 

Had my car for 4 years now and was only broken into once for my stero, nothing broken though, very clean job, so no worries just a missing stero system. Other then that nothing.

2 years punk *** mf gotta start over but since it got stolen i bought a ek and sold it and bought a b18a for my eg i guess i got some good thing in returned for theft

 

10 Days after I got my sound system in my Probe, it all got stolen. I later found various parts at downtown pawn shops, which had my stuff. I have a friend who had is 91 Integra (clean as hell) jacked during our senior party in our school parking lot. It was totally stripped, they took axels, fenders, hood, engine, dash, seats, tires and rims, and two doors. A kid I know who bought an EK with a chipped B16B for 6K got his car stolen 1 1/2 months after he got it. But, I told him to stop gloating about his car. All he did was take pictures of it and race kids and brag. He deserved it....insecurity

 

Yea finding out your car is missing or was broken into just makes your whole day bad. What do you think would be the worst case senario if you caught someone in the act? Major can opening that's what I would do. Just next to my front door I keep a pipe in case something ever happens. So if they mess with me they mess with my pipe. But would anyone kill for their car?

 

18 months, mostly stock. over 2k damage

 

i had a ej1 and was about to swap in my h22 and then some stoop mexis decided to take a left at the last minute and caused me to t-bone them...yea i had that for 3 months and then those ******* stole it from me.....well anyway i couldnt find another suitable coupe so i bought a hatch and milked their insurance company for every penny i could get

Yes, yes I would. Either kill, or severly beat the life out of them. I would probably go further, keeping them in my underground warehouse, and torchering them until they go Mentally ill

I was just thinking about that today. I determined that I would beat them until:
A)they all died
B)I died
C)I got arrested
D)I fell asleep

Current ride, over 2 1/2 yrs, only broken into once...stole speakers, and broke both front windows. 100% stock except my speakers and deck....Ive owned 3 other Honda's 2 ludes and a old Civ..non of which were vandalized or stolen.


I seriously am scared if I find somone breaking into my ****, not for them...but for how long Ill go to prison.

 

own my car for 4 months and it got stolen. Got a call a few weeks ago saying that they found it in mexico, but i can't get it out yet because i need to get all these paperwork
