Im not sure if they make this exhaust for a hatch. So ef8kid- this exhaust sounds good. I think it looks cleaner than most considering its a canister muffler!! Got any sound clips!!

Every exhaust I have ever seen that sounds like a fart can does not have a big enough muffler to deepen the tone they also rarly have any suppressors to aid in the noise and the raspy sound that so many people hate hondas for.
I had an HKS Hyper on my '92 GSR and it sounded awesome but also had 2 suppressors to help quit it down since the muffler is so small in diameter.
For the most part any exhaust that is pricey is that way for a reason. Greddy, Apexi, HKS and RSR all sound badass IMO, Tananbe is a great exhuast also but tends to be too loud and raspy for my taste. I do not know how the Espelir sounds but if you can look to see the amount and size of any suppressors (resonator) that will give you a good indication of how it will sound.
I used to sale quite a number of cat-backs for Hondas and other cars when I worked at a speed shop and that really helped me learn alot about alot of different aftermarket parts, I hope this can help your decision.

RSR makes a ex-mag GT2 canister exhaust for the hatchback and possibly for the CRX. I have heard much on it but I have been wanting one for a while

Well at least it has one sound supressor but I think I will still be a little raspy since there is only one and the canister muffler is not that big, a 2nd supressor really makes a big difference in sound quality.

You got it! It just sucks that there is not a way to show every honda owner the true sound test that would hopefully destroy the demand for sorry *** cheap exhausts.
It sucks that cheaper civics and cars alike are subject to so many cheap manufactures out there, it's funny the more expensive car you drive (i.e. NSX, Supra and so on) the harder it is to avoid great quality parts. Thats because the manufactures know that these type people know better and what not stand for such cheap **** available for thier cars therfore there is no market for it, Man I wish our EFs and the like were in the same catagory (not price wise) so we did not have to be so "aware" of what to; and what not to buy! It would be soo nice to buy whatever performance part you wanted w/o wondering is this going to work???
