Default eg hatch

does anyone know if you strip the rear seats outta the hatch if it will still pass saftey inspection? or should i just wait till its inspected then strip it down?

Waiting could never hurt. I know alot of people who do motor swaps AFTER they pass their emmissions tests. Get in alot of trouble if you get caught, but most people don't care.

rear seats have nothign to do with state inspections. Other than all the motor crap...you car has to have working lights, horn, brakes, and not too dark of tent. That's about all that's checked. You can strip out the whole interior if you wanted...just as long as those things still function.
