Default Stripped valve cover stud...how hard to replace?

The bottom left stud is stripped because the nut just keeps spinning and wont come off. Once i get the new stud, how hard is it to replace?

Uh, unbolt it with a deep socket, bolt new stud in. Pretty easy. I grab the studs at pick a parts all the time, since so many get stripped.

that thread says they might be 10mm, they do look a little smaller than the cam cap bolts which are 12. And what are the torque specs?

shyt i hate these bolts. I go to replace the cam seal and one of the 12 mm bolts that hold the cam plate in snapped in half. The bolts were torqued waay too tight and i think it snapped when i loosened them. I gotta keep a bunch of these bolts as spares.

I was in that exact same boat as you man. I replaced the seal near the vtec solenoid. Upon re-assembly I broke a stud on the cam bracing piece and also a valve cover stud.

I didn't think that I could just unbolt the VC stud. I just suckkered that thing up with Hondabond and called it a day. it's lasted 600 miles so far.
