extended top hats on a crx

extended top hats on a crx
is anyone using the DIY extended top hats where the extension is big enough for the shock body to go in? in other words the ID of the top hat is bigger than the OD of the shock body? how does this work for you, how long of an extension are you using and pics if possible. thanks
