Selling my beater: 87 Ford Bronco 2 4x4 $400
If you want something to beat the hell out of in your backyard/woods this is for you, cheap and will run for awhile.
If you dont mind putting 200-300 into it for a total cost of 600-700 you'll have a great 4x4 truck for the winter while your honda is parked safely in the garage.
Ok I bought this off my uncle when it was pretty much mint. I've beat it up pretty good 4 wheeling with it. The driver side 1/4 is dented, and the passenger side fender is dented too and the hood has a tiny dent and it has typical 80's ford body rot. And the hub to engage 4x4 is broken, but can still be turned with a screwdriver, just kind of a pain in the ***. The "check oil" light is always on no matter what, no idea why.
The motor and trans are still great, starts up first try after sitting for months, I never really beat the motor hard at all, just drove it hard in the mud. It was adult driven until like 2002. Still drives too but needs some work to make it road worthy again.
What it needs that im aware of:
Passengerside front wheel bearing or maybe a balljoint, i didnt look to hard.
Brake MC - I think this because I replaced the front pads and ever since the pedal has felt really soft, might just be a brake line.
Probably some rust repair to pass state inspection.
4x4 low does not go in, never has since it got worked on a bunch of years ago when I was little, i think its just a linkage problem, 4x4 high works fine though.
I replaced last summer:
Left bank valve cover gasket, have right bank to go with it
new rotor
new dizzy cap
Front brake pads
Its also got a pioneer headunit, from walmart years ago, works fine.
Feel free to ask questions, im not looking to get much for it, just need to get rid of it to make room for a new project car.
