Default alternator whistling

Hello guys,
I just replaced my original alternator with this guy: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...es_IT and it seems to make a whistling noise when driven.

i checked the belt tension and that was fine. i checked the pulley on the new alt. compared to the original since the original is still good, and they both feel the same. The alt. works cuz my battery is not dead, i was just wandering about the whistling noise. If its nothing all gladly live with it. All feedback welcome.

Check the bearing on the inside of the alternator, if it's goin or gone they it can cause the shaft to fluctuate when revvin or idlin.

This will cause the whistle noise? How do I check that?
