Default AEM V2 intake

Anyone Have any Dyno graph's with an AEM V2 on? I heard it makes good power all they way across, and 7-9 peak? I would love a Mugen Or J's, but foe under $300 AEm is a good buy!

aem v2 loses low end, gain a lil mid range, but more in the top end

I have one, can't beat it for the money. Its been shown to have as much gain (if not higher) than the higher priced jdm ones.

Is the best intake to me.

But just be carefull with the right drain hole of the car. The intake may get a lot of water from the hole from the rain if the car is parked!!!

Just be carefull with that

Good luck!!

I bought one of those heat sheilds from ebay. It's basically a sheet of metal with 3 feet. It was like $10. Works great. I put it over the filter and water never touches the filter and it stops water from hitting the filter when it's raining and coming in the bumper.

The metal umbrella is not needed. As long as you cover the drain whole in the enginer bay. You should be fine. Just remeber to not let the filter get submerged in water. Also, when going through puddles, don't be at WOT. Either be just lightly on the gas or not on the gas at all (in neutral) and go through it.

I cut slits in my front bumper in the faux covers. I know rain can easily get in through there as my filter is right behind it. I have never had a problem and I have driven through all kinds of rain (light rain all the way to flooding).
