im stuck plzzz help
i want to start my sohc monster project but stuck on which engine to start on. I want to do a f22b1. But in my car is a f22b2. Which engine would you guys turbo. I was goin for the f22b2 but want to know if i can use aftermarket parts from a f22b1 like a skunk2 thorttle body and a venom intake manifold.
The F22b2 SOHC Non V-Tec lends itself well to Turbo. Besides being dirt cheap to replace if you need to, the bottom end and piston ring lands are stronger than some other series.
The F22b1 SOHC V-Tec version lends itself better to all-engine applications. Surprisingly, the aggressive cam lobe profiles which work quite well w/v-tec actually work against boost horse power.
