Default Radio Noise Condensor Which One ?

Vehicle -> 1987 Accord Lx - Automatic - carburetted

Next to the ignition coil is a small rectangular black box known in some circles as a radio noise condensor. In the Honda parts database it's called a CONDENSOR(Showa) and also CONDENSOR, IGNITION(Panasonic).

The Showa part # is 30505-PH1-307; the Panasonic part # is 30505-PH1-602.

The original part I have shows a small circle with 2 or 3 horizontal lines going thru it followed by C136-A. Underneath that is -> 250.0.47.

I've spoken with 2 Honda dealers on the phone and they have no information on their screens that can determine which one I have.

If you know the answer, a response would be appreciated.

The device is #4 in at the following URL:

Thanks.

the first 8 digits of the part number are the same so either unit will work; the last 3 digits indicate a different supplier.
