Default Problems with Drivers Seat

I recently purchased a '06 Honda Accord LX. I'm very happy with the car, but there's something about the driver's side seat that's driving me nuts. Basically when I sit there's a hard lump or something that causes pressure on my left thigh just below the butt. I've tried both front seats, and this appears to only happen on the drivers side. In addition I didn't have any problems with the model I test drove, or my previous Accord, an '04. I've taken it back the to dealer, and they claim they can't find any sort of problem with it.

At this point I'm not sure what to do, and advice would be appreciated.

In this order, I'd try:
1) I would suggest you locate a second Honda Dealer and have them take another look. If it involves inviting their Service Manager to sit-test it, so be it.
2) I would then give the Honda regional Office a call, and ask for a customer service rep. Your regional office:

Honda of North America
Central Zone Office
101 South Stanfield Road
Troy, Ohio 45373
(513-332-6250)

3) Locate a local Auto Upholstry Shop, and let them evaluate it

I also have a 7th gen Accord and have experienced the same type of problem. I can usually adjust the seat to alleviate the problem (I have the 8 way adjustable seat). It seems like the seat is positioned farther to the right than it should be. And you have to turn your body to the left slightly to operate the accelerator and brake pedal, putting more pressure on the left thigh area. When you sit in the passenger seat you don't have to turn your body (to operate the pedals). I'm thinking this is to make room for the side curtain airbags to deploy between you and the door (safety reasons). I have nerve damage in my left leg, from a back injury years ago, and I figured that was at least part of my problem. But it seems to be affecting others as well. Good luck, with your situation.
