Im about to pick up some seats for my crx..the dude thats selling them says that it was the 89-91 rails that were different from the 88..i always thought it was 88/89 different from 90-91..Is he correct?

 

depends... here's a simple rule of thumb. all CRXes with door mounted seat belts had the same rails. all CRXes with pillar mounted seat belts had the same rails. the two are not interchangeable. my 89 Si rails are the same as 90-91, but an 89 HF would be the same as an 88 Si. Get it?

 

88 and 89 have different rails, but they're interchangible on the bottoms of the seats. i'm pretty sure the later ones are different. (i'm not taking into account the hf's)

 

I don't remember what the difference is in years. If worse comes to worse, just swap seat pans. If you don't know what that means, do a search on seat pans or something to that effect. I did a write up on it a while back.

 

I do know what a seat pan is and how to swap them out..The thing is..Myc ar has no seats period. No rails, seats, not even the bolts for them..and looking on a local for sale site i saw some seats..just wanna make sure..its been awhile since ive owned an EF. Thanks for everyone replies!
