Default oil weight?

What's a good weight to be running in a '95 B16Z6 (Civic EX coupe). The winters go down to about 0 sometimes over here and the summers go up to about 100 (ºF). I'm probably going to use mobile 1 10W30 through the system, but does anybody have any other offerings I should use? Be it weight wise or make wise?

EDIT:
Anybody have hte URL to that page that'll tell me when and how this trial thing goes away?

What exactly is a B16Z6? I would use 5w30. In cold weather you want a thinner oil.

Way to go on the no mobil I usually use 10w-30 through the winters here, usually drops well below 0 for a couple weeks. Never had any problems.

5w30 is honda recommended, and unless you swapped, you have a D16Z6, not a B16.

I run mobil1 5w-30 here in NJ. it hasnt been that cold this winter knock on wood but it is better to have a lighter weight oil in the winter because the oil gets thick and slow moving in the cold weather and its easier to bring a lighter weighted oil back to an operating temp.

well since i live in like, central NY, 5W30 it is, I g2 change it though, I'm not sure what the person that had it before me was running through it, if it was something different I g2 do one of those oil changes where I empty it all, change the filter, etc. etc. then wait like 1500 - 2000 miles, then change it again, then it'll be aight......

At least that's what I hear anyways, I never did that, I always just wait the typical 3-5k, even the first time...

5W30 winter, 10W30 summer. Never had any problems in the winter. I have heard some recommendations of 5W20 but I have never done this.
