Some guy is selling MT slicks mounted on Civic EX steelies. Would this clear my brakes?

 

have to dhave the brake bracket or something like that.it was covered the otherday with info and pics do a search.

 

Yes they will. A set is on my Si right now

I thought the si had bigger brakes than the ex.

 

It does and the front is the problem. I think that shaving the brake calipers only pertains to certain 14" wheels, like HX's.

Both the 96-00 EX and 99-00 SI had 10.2" front brakes

14" steelies fit but HX need some work

em1 brakes are the same as the ex
14" wheels do fit, if they have the right offset
Im using 14" wheels right now on integra calipers - which are larger

 

10.3" rotors to correct ya, but yeah, there IDENTICAL brakes so EX/DX steelies will fit just fine.
